In terms of the method of education, the types of universities in Iran are divided into three categories:
Face-to-face
Includes most of the universities and fields common in open, applied science, government and non-profit universities.
Semi-face-to-face
Such as Payam Noor University, which only holds face-to-face classes for some courses, such as seminars or practical courses.
Virtual
All courses are online, offered by some government and non-government universities.
